Simba
GHR received Simba at the beginning of May 2025. Simba is an 2-month-old??, male, brown, tan, and white, long-haired Syrian hamster. The average life-expectancy for this species of hamster is 2-3 years.
Simba was surrendered to GHR from a family who adopted from a pet store. Their hamster turned out to be pregnant and gave birth to 15 healthy hamster pups! Simba is one of those babies. Simba has 5 other siblings at GHR right now, Minnie, Mulan, Miss Frizzle, Dorothy Ann, and Agnus. Simba is very sweet, and likes to be held, but he can be a little shy at first. Simba is a very curious hamster, he loves his wheel, and also likes to play with his toys in his enclosure. Simba would be great for a first time adopter!
Simba comes with an enclosure containing all necessary items, one bag of paper-based bedding, one bag of food, and one bag of sand.
The adoption fee is $50.
An additional suggested donation of $50 to $75 is recommended to cover food, bedding, sand, and enclosure materials.
